How long for should I get the cheese out of the fridge before serving?

People often say to get the cheese out of the fridge 1hour prior to serving. What we are aiming for is the ideal serving temperature of 22degs. In summer, getting to 22 will be much faster while in winter, it may not even reach that temperature.
