What temperature should cheese be served at?

The ideal temperature to serve cheese at is 22degs. The general rule of thumb is to leave your cheese out for 1hour prior to serving. But obviously, the ambient temperature will dictate how long you leave it out. Serving cheese at 22degs will allow the flavours and aromas to be at their peak.

And nothing beats a soft cheese that starts to goo over the cheese board.
